Effective environmental management and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) enable a business to manage risks and factors that impact on its performance and the environment. Our team has experience in assisting businesses to implement and certify to best practice EMS standards, including ISO 14001 and BS 8555. Groundwork also provides the IEMA accredited Groundwork Environmental Management Systems (GEMS) course which is ideally suited to individuals seeking to develop the skills and knowledge required to assess, manage and action environmental improvements in their work place.
Keeping up to date with environmental best practice, legislation and emerging technologies is an essential, but often time consuming task for businesses. Our services are designed to raise your awareness and understanding of environmental, Health & Safety issues, without overloading you. We achieve this by offering information in a number of different ways, including a phone and email helpline, information sheets and environmental legislation updates.
